Beliefs

What We Believe:

• That the Bible (Old and New Testaments) is God's perfect guidebook for living.
• In the one true, holy God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• That nothing in creation “just happened.” God made it all.
• That God hears and answers prayer.
• That God, by His own Grace, initiated salvation by sending His Son.
• That the Son became a man, Jesus Christ, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
• That Jesus, through his earthly ministry to the twelve disciples, created the Church.
• That Jesus voluntarily paid for the sins of all by dying on the cross as our substitute.
• That Jesus rose from the grave defeating sin and death.
• That Heaven and hell are real places. Death is a beginning, not the end.
• That all those who put their faith in Jesus will join Him in Heaven.
• Through His Holy Spirit, God lives in and through those who choose Him.
• God has allowed evil to provide us with a choice, God can bring good even out of evil events and God promises victory over evil to those who choose him.
• That the Church is here to serve people, like Jesus served people.
• Jesus is coming again.
